Michael Brandhoff was appointed Managing Director in 2024 bringing with him a wealth of more than 25 years shipping experience. Starting his seagoing career with Hapag-Lloyd and Hamburg Süd, followed by positions as technical director and managing director at Reederei Hamburger Lloyd and Hamburger Lloyd Tanker and managing director and chief executive officer for Zeaborn Ship Management, Michael has extensive knowledge of tanker, container and bulk management.

Dr Michael Silies studied in Münster, Oxford and Göttingen. He has been with MPC Capital since 2003 in various management positions with a focus on shipping. Dr Silies was appointed CEO of Ahrenkiel Steamship in spring 2015 and also holds this position in the new joint venture Wilhelmsen Ahrenkiel Ship Management.

Jan-Eric Panitzki holds a master’s certificate and has been working in the shipping industry since 1984. After holding management positions in several shipping companies, he joined Ahrenkiel Steamship as COO in April 2015. In the new joint venture Wilhelmsen Ahrenkiel Ship Management he also took over the position of General Manager.

Martin de Vries started his career with PWC and has a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He worked for more than two decades for an international aviation leasing company in various tax and accounting positions. He has been with the company since 2018 and was appointed as General Manager in 2022.
